34 GCS Students Selected for Discovery Flight to Explore Careers in Aviation
Thirty-four Greenville County Schools middle and high school students have been selected to participate in Discovery Flight, a program that includes 45 minutes of ground instruction and a 45-minute flight. The program targets students who are interested in a career in aviation and would like to find out more about the requirements. This exciting learning opportunity is sponsored by The Greenville Downtown Airport and Airwolf Aviation Services.
The aviation industry forecasts a tremendous need for pilots and aircraft mechanics in the future as many veteran pilots are scheduled to retire.
