Grove Elementary first grade teacher Kristen Cutcher received a big surprise today from OfficeMax as part of "A Day Made Better," a national event that helps provide relief and support to teachers who spend their own money on much-needed classroom supplies.

Just after recess, employees from OfficeMax presented Ms. Cutcher with a new desk chair and several huge boxes filled with $1,000 worth of classroom supplies. The donated supplies include planners, a label maker, a digital camera, dry erase markers, pens, folders, and much more.

"A Day Made Better" is held annually in October, when OfficeMax associates surprise and honor more than 1,000 teachers at schools around the country with a total of $1 million worth of classroom supplies.
