Dr. Anne PressleyDr. Anne Pressley has joined Greenville County Schools as Director of Academic Support. In this capacity, she is responsible for assessing, developing, and evaluating curriculum, as well as coordinating special programs for the continuous improvement of instruction. Dr. Pressley brings extensive experience in implementation of the Common Core standards, alignment of curriculum, and providing relevant professional development for teachers and other academic staff.

She previously served as Director of Teaching and Learning for Beaufort County Schools. Dr. Pressley served Greenville County Schools from 1995 to 2010 in a variety of positions including assistant principal for curriculum and instruction at Berea High, instructional coach at Eastside High, and English teacher at Eastside High, Mauldin High, and J.L. Mann High Academy.

Dr. Pressley earned a doctorate from the University of South Carolina, master’s degree from Converse College, and bachelor's degree from Clemson University.
