The Bryson Bulldog Advanced Chorus recently earned national recognition for their outstanding performance.

The Bryson Middle Bulldog Advanced chorus was among 16 middle school and 18 high school chorus and instrumental ensembles nationwide to earn the 2012 Grand Sweepstakes Award from the Music Showcase Festivals organization.

The 70-member chorus of seventh and eighth grade students, taught by Holly Traynham Hill, earned the honor for being the highest scoring ensemble in their category at the Six Flags over Georgia Music Showcase Festival. They also received the Most Outstanding Accompanist Award and the Most Outstanding Soprano Section award.  The school will receive a trophy as recognition for earning this prestigious award. Warm thanks are extended to the parent chaperones and Bryson Middle School principal Phillip Davie for their support.
