Stone Elementary Academy FIRST Lego Robotics Team Wins First Place in Innovation and Strategy.
Stone Elementary Academy’s first Lego Robotics team, the “Stone Chefs,” won the First Place award in the "Strategy and Innovation" category at the State Lego Competition. The award recognized the team for using solid engineering practices and a well-developed strategy to design and build an innovative, high performing robot. Stone’s team received high marks in all categories and was nominated for three awards. Stone’s robot placed 13th out of 80 teams. Stone Academy’s Lego Robotics team is coached by fourth grade teacher, Amie Lee.
