Blythe Academy of Languages supports Healthy Students/Staff.  The 1st Wednesday of every month, we have "walk & wheel" to school.  Members of our PTA stand outside on the track to give parents, staff and students (k4-5th grade) a sticker or other 'reward' for living healthy.

Monarch Elementary students, teachers and staff will participate in a walk at school event.  The event will be held at 8:05 am.  Why do we walk?  Because it’s fun, it makes our heart stronger, it keeps us healthy and gets oxygen to our brain.  Join the fun and get healthy together.  Students will exit doors and circle the building, led by our PE teachers Mrs. Bowman and Mrs. Tucker.  Classes will follow as we all walk around the Monarch campus.

Paris Elementary will celebrate International Walk to School Day.  We invite all students, parents, and teachers to join us on the track from 7:15-7:45 a.m.  So far over 2,900 schools have registered to participate in this event, with 49 states represented.  We want to get involved and do our part to promote safe walking and fitness.  We look forward to seeing you on the track on October 4 at 7:15 a.m.
