Fine Arts Center Visitation Days and Prospective Parent Meetings
Fine Arts Center Middle School Visitation Day on Thursday, November 19, 2015
The Fine Arts Center will hold its annual middle school visitation day on Thursday, November 19, 2015, and we are inviting all interested eighth grade students to visit our school. Students may visit in the morning from 9:15 – 11:05. Visiting students are asked to complete a Prearranged Absence Form (on website at www.fineartscenter.net), having it signed by all teachers whose classes they will miss. That completed form then becomes their “ticket” to our Visitation Day. We encourage students in Greenville County with an interest in studying the arts to spend the morning at the Center looking over our programs and meeting the faculty and students.
Fine Arts Center High School Visitation Day on Friday, November 20, 2015
The Fine Arts Center will hold its annual high school visitation day on Friday, November 20, 2015, and we are inviting all interested students in grades 9 – 11 to visit our school. Students may visit in the morning from 9:15 – 11:05 or in the afternoon from 1:30 – 3:20. Visiting students are asked to complete a Prearranged Absence Form (on website at www.fineartscenter.net), having it signed by all teachers whose classes they will miss. That completed form then becomes their “ticket” to our Visitation Day. We encourage students in Greenville County with an interest in studying the arts to spend the day at The Center looking over our programs and meeting faculty and students.
Fine Arts Center Prospective Parent Night on Thursday, November 19, 2015
The Fine Arts Center will hold a meeting for parents of prospective students at the Fine Arts Center on the evening of Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 6:30-8:00. We are inviting all interested parents to visit the school and attend the meeting. The administration and faculty will be sharing information about Fine Arts Center programs and will be available to answer questions that parents may have about the program, including the application and audition process. We encourage parents of students who have an interest in studying the arts to spend the evening at the Center looking over our programs and meeting the administration and faculty.

Calendar for Application Process - 2016-2017
- November 2, 2015 – Fine Arts Center online application for new and returning students for the 2016 - 2017 school year will go on website. No paper applications will be accepted. Final deadline for applications – January 15, 2016.
- January 19, 2016 – February 26, 2016 - Fine Arts Center teachers will audition/interview applicants.
- March 4, 2016 – All audition/interview decisions will be available to students and parents on this date.
- March 11, 2016 - Accepted students will have accepted/declined offers to complete registration process.
- March 16, 2016– Rosters of accepted students to home high schools.
