Oakview Elementary Students Collect For Columbia
Oakview Elementary's Student Council and PTA are joining forces in sponsoring “Collection for Columbia!”
Oakview is collecting items for two schools that have been affected by flooding in Columbia, SC. One of the schools is being gutted as a result of the heavy flooding.
Items that students and Oakview families are collecting include, peanut butter, hand sanitizer, socks,clothing, diapers, towels, toiletries, Clorox wipes, books, both new and gently used.
Students are also collecting school supplies for students and teachers. Some of these items include backpacks, glue, scissors, markers, crayons, etc.
Items will be taken by truck at the end of this week.
