Marching Bands Exhibition to Feature New Instruments
The Greenville County Marching Bands Exhibition will be held at North Greenville University on Saturday, September 19 at 5pm at North Greenville University’s Younts Stadium.
The purpose of the event is to showcase all 14 high school marching bands in one location. Additionally, bands and their directors will receive comments from clinicians to help put the finishing touches on their shows before the competitive season begins.
At the end of the exhibition the bands will perform America the Beautiful in unison. The bands will dedicate the song to the Greenville County School Board of Trustees. Last year trustees approved $1.9 million to purchase new band and string equipment for all schools.
The event is free and the public is invited to attend.
