Students Will Not Attend School on Monday, May 27; Schools and Offices Will Close
Students will not attend school on Monday, May 27 and schools and offices will be closed that day, originally scheduled as a professional development/work day, as part of the district’s cost-cutting efforts. Employees scheduled to work on May 27 will work extended hours the rest of that week or take leave. Closing schools and offices saves about $50,000 per day in utility costs.
