It came down to a match between two Greenville County high school teams – Riverside and Southside – at this year’s annual Scholastic Scoreboard competition. At the end of the final competition, Riverside High’s team was declared the winner of the 2013 Scholastic Scoreboard.

Riverside High’s team members are Nathan Chou, Jiawei Zhang, Emory Burns, and Shane Grogan.

Southside High team members are Christina Chiu, Sai Bikkani, Ian McCraw, Ishaan Jain, Nathan Brown, Rahul Raghavan, Victorio Cabrera, and Kim Rhodes.

Scholastic Scoreboard offers a chance for students with superb intellectual ability and competitive spirit to exhibit their gifts in tournament play with similarly gifted students from other schools.  Sponsored by Greenville County Schools, this program encourages the finest in academic accomplishment and offers the community the chance to see this achievement first hand in active competition.
