Teacher Receives Miracle Worker Award

Ms. Jeannie Ramsey, third grade teacher at Thomas E. Kerns Elementary, was recognized during Tuesday night’s School Board meeting with a Miracle Worker Award. Ms. Jeannie Ramsey, third grade teacher at Thomas E. Kerns Elementary, was recognized during Tuesday night’s School Board meeting with a Miracle Worker Award.  Ms. Ramsey used the Heimlich maneuver to save a student who was choking on a piece of food. Board member Kenneth Baxter presented the award to Ms. Ramsey.
