Public Auctions Terms and Conditions
Buyer agrees and understands that all items are being sold as-is. The Greenville County School District specifically disclaims all warranties, including any warranty or condition of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Buyer assumes all responsibility for the condition of any purchased item.
Payment in full is due by auction close. Payment must be CASH or CHECK ONLY. Make check payable to ‘Greenville County Schools.’ If payment is not received before auction closes, the district retains title to the item.
Before any item can be moved, full payment must be made. All items must be removed within 48 hrs of auction close. Buyer must make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading, and transportation of the property. No assistance is promised.
Prior to auction, each registrant will receive a bidder’s number. In order to receive a bidder’s number, registrants must present a valid driver’s license. All pertinent info will be collected—driver’s license #, address, phone #, email, and tax info (if exempt).
