Director's Page

It is with great enthusiasm that I begin this school year as the Director of Golden Strip Career Center Director. As a product of Greenville County Schools, it is an honor to serve the community that raised me.

This is my fifteenth year in education, all with Greenville County Schools. I have served as a high school special education teacher at Berea High, instructor at Enoree Career Center, high school assistant principal at Travelers Rest High and career center assistant director at Golden Strip for the past six years. These diverse opportunities have strengthened my leadership skills and inspired a commitment to connect students to authentic and engaging programs. It is exhilarating to witness the spark within a student as they transform their passion into a career. During my time at Golden Strip Career Center there were significant increases in student enrollment, retention and earned certifications which are a testament to the development of high-quality educational opportunities and positive school culture. It is my goal to continue to improve upon these areas and explore new opportunities for our students.

As an educational leader, it is my goal to inspire, support and prepare students for their next steps. My professionalism and dedication to the success of students is driven by my love of education and all it encompasses.

My husband, Zach, and I met in high school and have two sons, Jack Henry and Wells.

I am grateful for this opportunity and would love to share our great school with you! Please call or stop by to visit our amazing center and learned how you can partner with us.
