Unmanned Aircraft

Ever wondered how drones are used in movies, sports, emergency response, engineering, or business? Unmanned Aircraft introduces students to the fast-growing world of drone technology and aviation. In this course, students explore how drones fly, how pilots operate safely in real airspace, and how this technology is shaping future careers.

Students will learn drone flight theory, airspace rules, aviation weather, flight procedures, communications, and basic maintenance while exploring pathways to recreational and commercial drone piloting. The course also introduces FAA Part 107 concepts, giving students a head start toward industry certification and careers in aviation, technology, engineering, and beyond.

If you’re interested in flying, technology, problem-solving, or future careers that take off—this course is for you.
