Our Principal

As principal of East North Street Academy, it is my privilege and pleasure to welcome you to the 2016-2017 school year. This academic year we begin a new chapter in our school’s history. Together we enter a journey based in a deep commitment to student success, both academic and social, and continued school improvement.  At East North Street Academy, we embrace the challenges of the future while we continue to cherish and celebrate the traditions of the past.  Our incredible staff, involved parents and students and committed community come together to make ENSA a wonderful and unique place!

I possess over 13 years of educational experience which includes grades 2, 3 and 7. Along with experience as an Instructional Coach with grades K4-5, Title One Facilitator grades K4-5 and Assistant Principal grades K4-5. My administrative experience has been shaped by 5 years of successful leadership as an elementary assistant principal in both Pickens and Greenville Counties. I am exhilarated to bring my skills as an educational leader to your child’s school and to work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child’s success.

In addition to being a school leader, I am also a wife and mother. I have been married to my husband for 14 years. He is currently the Principal at Hughes Academy of Science and Technology in Greenville County. We have 3 beautiful children: Kinley (9), Lathem (7) and Sophie (5). We love spending time together as a family!

My greatest initiative is to provide the leadership that will facilitate a school environment that meets the needs of each student. Parents, teachers, support staff and administration all have an important role in encouraging our children to become motivated and active learners. It is my desire to provide opportunities for our students to gain the skills needed to become productive citizens in society.
