My name is Dr. Jordan Hudson, and I am honored to serve as the principal of East North Street Academy! It is truly a privilege to lead such a special school community filled with dedicated educators, supportive families, and incredible students who make ENSA a place where inquiry, achievement, and relationships all add up.
At ENSA, we are proud of our math and science magnet focus and the opportunities it provides for students to engage in hands-on learning, problem-solving, innovation, and real-world STEM experiences. I am passionate about ensuring students experience engaging, high-quality instruction that helps them think critically, discover their strengths, and grow as leaders. I believe schools should be places where students feel safe, supported, celebrated, and inspired each day, and building strong relationships and a sense of belonging for students, staff, and families are priorities that guide my work every day.
Prior to becoming a principal, I taught 3rd and 4th grades and served as a school-level instructional coach, district-level MTSS coach, and assistant principal at both the elementary and middle school levels. These experiences strengthened my belief in the importance of high expectations, meaningful relationships, and supporting the whole child. At ENSA, we work hard to turn those beliefs into daily experiences for students through strong instruction, meaningful opportunities, and a positive school culture.
I earned my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Carolina and also studied at The Citadel and Clemson University. I have had the privilege of experiencing public education as a student, educator, and now as a parent. As a first-generation college graduate, I deeply believe in the power of education to change lives.
My husband, Dylan, serves as the principal at Greenville High School, and together we have two children, Berkeley and Brice. Because Dylan also grew up in a family of educators, we often say that education is the family business. We understand the deep calling, commitment, and heart that serving students, staff, and families requires.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, shopping, reading, exercising, and making memories at Walt Disney World.
This year promises to be filled with meaningful learning, celebration, and opportunities for our Tigers to roar with pride. Like all of our dedicated staff, I am committed to supporting every child and family at ENSA. We are proud to partner with families as we help every Tiger grow, lead, and roar with pride.
Let's make it a great year! Let's Roar!
