She has served as Assistant Principal at Pelham Road and Mitchell Road Elementary Schools and was recognized as Teacher of the Year both at Homeland Park Elementary in Anderson District 5 and at AJ Whittenberg Elementary in GCS.
Mrs. Dye earned a BA in Elementary Education from Clemson University and an MA in School Leadership from Furman University. She is a graduate of the GCS Aspiring Principals Institute and Instructional Leadership Academy, and is a current participant in the Wallace Foundation’s Principal Professional Learning Community, a group of school administrators from around the nation who collaborate to address problems in common.
In her interview, Mrs. Dye demonstrated a deep knowledge of best practices that need to be applied consistent with the use of data to make student-centered decisions.
Please give her a warm welcome as we lead this transition for our students, staff and families of Taylors Elementary!
