Principal's Weekly Message

Weekly Message for week of February 19, 2018
See the Student Page of the website for a more detailed schedule of events.

We hope everyone enjoys the extended weekend as we are out of school Monday for Presidents Day.  Progress Reports will be issued to students when we return to school on Tuesday.

Class registration is scheduled for 6th grade on Tuesday & Wednesday and for 7th grade on Thursday & Friday.  These students were given registration information this past week.  Please ask your 6th and 7th graders for this information and take time to go over it together.    8th grade registration is scheduled for later in March.

Wednesday, students look forward to ABC Incentive time and $2 Kona Ice Day.

Beta Club will host an Induction Ceremony to welcome its new members Thursday, February 22 at 6:00pm.  All Beta Club inductees and volunteers should arrive by 5:30pm in the Media Center and should dress for this special occasion.  Jeans, shorts, and T-shirts should not be worn to this ceremonial event.  Dresses and skirts should be past fingertip length.  Beta Club T-shirts will be on sale for $10 after the ceremony.

Friday, students may participate in Box Tops No Collar Day and 8th Graders will visit the Enoree Career Center.

Also on Friday, our 6th graders will attend the Living History Museum, hosted by fellow 6th graders.  Parents are welcome to attend from 9:30 – 10:30 in the Media Center.
