Middle School Athletics

Greenville Middle will participate in all middle school sports this year.  All students promoted to the seventh and eighth grades are eligible to try out for any sport.  We will field the following teams:

• Girls' Volleyball
• Boys' and Girls' Basketball
• Boys' and Girls' Soccer
• Boys' Baseball
• Girls' Softball

In order to try out for one of the teams all students need the following:

• Approved State Birth Certificate
• SC High School League Physical Form completed by a licensed Doctor
• Signed Parent Permission Form
• Promotion to the seventh or eighth grade

Physicals are good for one year of competition.  If your child is planning to try out for any sport, please get his/her physical form completed as soon as possible.  Physical forms are available at the school office and most doctors; offices.  If your family doctor is not available to schedule the physical, any of the Doctors' Care or Urgent Care offices will be happy to schedule the physical for your child.  The school is required to keep the physical form on file and we can provide you with a copy when needed.
