2025 SUMMER ENROLLMENT – GREER MIDDLE SCHOOL
If you are transferring to our school from another district or another state, please enroll your student online through parent backpack.
The first step is to set up a Backpack account:

Open your Backpack account, look for the “Enroll A New Student” section, follow the instructions, upload required documentation (see below), complete and submit enrollment.
Please upload, email, or fax (355-5880) the following documents to enroll your student:
1. Two Proofs of residency such as mortgage, lease, water or power bill. These should be dated within the last 30 days.
2. Parent/Guardian’s government issued photo ID.
3. Student’s birth certificate.
4. Student’s immunization record (7th grade or higher require Tdap) or religious exemption certificate. Out-of-state immunizations need to be transferred to SC DHEC immunization form & submitted to Greer Middle prior to 1st day of school.
5. Last report card, and IEP/504 plan (if applicable).
6. Court orders pertaining to custody, guardianship, no contact, etc. (if applicable)
Note to GCS parents: If you have a student who is currently enrolled in a Greenville County School and you have moved, please alert your current and new school of your address change. New proof of residency will be required.
School staff will be available on a limited basis this summer to assist you with registration or updating your student’s record:

The slideshow includes all the information you need to know about GCVSP and VirtualSC options for the Summer or upcoming Fall semester and the link to register. Please contact Mrs. Rosemond (arosemond@greenville.k12.sc.us) with questions. All courses are approved at the counselor’s discretion.
The Greenville County Schools Superintendent Dr. Burke Royster and Greenville County Sheriff Hobart Lewis ask for parents’ help in ensuring effective reporting of potential threats.
The Superintendent and Sheriff ask parents to monitor your child’s social media accounts closely, help control the spread of false threats and misinformation, and ensure effective reporting occurs. Having your child follow the See Something, Say Something protocols by reporting potential threats directly to the school or law enforcement will maximize the effective use of both school and law enforcement resources and ultimately create a safer environment for all students.
