As principal of Stone Academy, it is my privilege to welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year. The entire school community is committed to providing your children with the love, support, and tools they need to be successful in life and school. If you have been a Stone parent prior to this year, you and I have hopefully already gotten to know one another and I look forward to seeing more of you this coming school year. For new parents and students, we welcome you and are excited to get to know you.
I have been at Stone for 11 years and in the Greenville County school system for 26. I am a product of Greenville County Schools, having attended Augusta Circle, Hughes, and Greenville High. I received my BA in Language and International Trade from Clemson University and my education degrees from Furman University. I am blessed to have a very close-knit family, including two nephews who are my pride and joy. In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, socializing with friends and family, exercising, and attending Clemson football games.
Our school theme this year is “Bee Inspired.” This is somewhat of a continuation of last year’s theme of “Bee Kind.” I was telling our staff just recently how much they inspire me. I strive to do my best for and because of them. They will inspire your children each and every day to dream big and accomplish great things. We know every single child in this building can find success in whatever they choose to do.
