Twice the Distinction: Band and Orchestra Each Earn Superior Ratings at CPA 🎶
CTC Band CTC Orchestra
Last Wednesday was an incredible day for our Griffin musicians! Both our Band AND Orchestra earned Superior with Distinction at CPA, an honor that reflects perfect scores from the judges!
We are incredibly proud of our talented students and dedicated directors for this outstanding achievement. A special thank you to Mrs. Ledford, Mrs. Johnston, and Mrs. Martin for their outstanding leadership and direction of these distinguished groups. Your hard work, commitment, and passion continue to shine and represent Sterling with excellence! 🎶
Relay for Life Spirit Week 2026
All funds raised this week will go to the American Cancer Society to help fund Cancer research and help local Cancer patients.
All week there will be a school store set up in the cafeteria from 7:15-7:40. Items will range from $0.50-$5.00. There will also be a Bake Sale during lunch on Wednesday (and Thursday if we have leftovers) bring cash, all items will be $1. You may also donate directly to our team.
Spirit Week- dress up days and information
Tuesday, April 7 - Twin Tuesday - Find someone or a group to dress alike!
Wednesday, April 8 - Wild West Wednesday - We want to see your best country/ western outfits!
Thursday, April 9 - Throwback Thursday - Whatever this means to you: wear clothes from a previous era, dress as your parents or teacher when they were young. However you want to interpret this, we welcome all ideas.
Friday, April 10 - Fluffy Friday - Come dressed as your favorite Squishmallow
Parker’s Fight Pals-
Boxes will be placed near the front office to collect new Squishmallows in memory of Parker, the son of former 5th-grade teacher Mrs. Evans. Parker bravely battled Osteosarcoma, and his family wants to remind children facing similar battles that they are never alone. All collected Squishmallows will be distributed to children currently battling cancer to bring them comfort, joy, and a reminder of hope.

This year’s theme is Storytelling! Step into a world of genres, narrative art, and story elements. Bring your curiosity and your creative sense of adventure and enjoy:
● Hands on Art Activities such as Enchanted Objects, Castle Drawings, Mystery Ink, Monogram Pennants, Mythological Creatures, Treasure Maps, and More!
● Guests include Greenville Art Museum and several area artists!

Registration for 2026-2027 for the After School Program has begun. Please call Mrs. Henry at 864-355-4689 if you do not have access to complete the online registration.
There will be no in person registration.
All will be done online through Procare and will end May 18, 2026 or when we fill all of our available spots.
A $40 non-refundable application fee will be required at that time.
Registration and payment of the application fee DO NOT guarantee your admission into the program. This will put you on a waitlist that we will fill first come, first served. The application fee in non-refundable.
