Sevier Middle School is one of the finest schools in which I have been a member of the faculty and staff. A brief history, I was raised in Hampton, Virginia and attended Old Dominion University where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Upon graduation, I worked for Newport News Shipbuilding where I was involved in refueling the nuclear reactors in the Nimitz class aircraft carriers and the 688 class submarines. I then relocated to Florida where I pursued a career in education where I taught both middle and high school mathematics. During my thirteen-year stay in Florida, I met my wife, Mindy, who was also a math teacher. We both worked for Volusia County Schools. In 2003, I earned my National Board Certification. We have a beautiful daughter, Madison, and a handsome son, Hunter, who both attend Greenville County Schools. In August of 2007, we relocated to Greer so Mindy could stay home with the kids and I began teaching 8th grade math at Greer Middle School. In December of 2011, I graduated from Arkansas State University with a Master’s of Science degree in Educational Leadership and during the summer of 2012 I joined Sevier Middle School as an Assistant Principal.
