Yearbooks On Sale Now!
The 2016-2017 Woodmont Middle School Yearbook is on sale now! The cost is $25.00 cash or check. You may also purchase a yearbook online using a credit card. Yearbooks will be sold in the cafeteria on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:20 to 8:45. They will also be sold during Student-led Conferences on October 25th from 4:00 -6:30 in the cafeteria. Academic Assistance Being Offered
After-school academic assistance for English, Math, Science and Social Studies (Humanities) is currently being offered from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Each day is dedicated to a certain subject with a certified teacher in that area available to assist your child.
The subject/days are as follows:
Monday- English (ELA) Ms. Twigg - Rm 608
Tuesday- Math Ms. Newman - Rm 308
Wednesday- Science Ms. Thornton - Rm 211
Thursday- Social Studies Ms. Olson - Rm 302
This is a drop-in program; however, you must register your child (one-time only). Your child may choose which day(s) they would like to stay depending on the subject area they need assistance in. Students attending after-school assistance must come prepared with work to complete or they will be sent out of the classroom. Please complete the registration form and have your child return it to the front office.
Students must be picked up by 4:30pm. If students are not picked up by 4:30pm they will receive a warning. After the second time, they will not be permitted to attend after-school assistance for the remainder of the semester.
What is Your Story?
What is Your Story? That is the theme of the 2016-2017 PTA Reflections contest. It's your chance to share your story through Visual Arts, Photography, and Literature. Entries are due by Friday, October 28th and may be brought to the media center. For more information about the Reflections program, click HERE.
