Summit Drive Elementary is hosting a TEDx event on the evening of April 4. TEDx is an opportunity for our students to deliver a 3-5 minute presentation about a topic they are passionate about. Since we are "Leaders Changing the World" here at Summit Drive, our TEDx event will focus on ways our students make the world a better place. This TEDx event is a great opportunity for students to share their passions, interests, ideas, and wonderings.

To learn more information about our TEDx event, click the following button. You'll be directed to a Google Slide where Dr. Young, our Challenge Teacher, gives more information about what to expect in the audition and event. In short, students will audition in January with a short 1-3 minute presentation (it's fine to use notes for the audition). After students have been selected, they will work with Dr. Young and other teachers before school for coaching and support. We will make sure all students are well-prepared for the April 4 presentation.
