LiveWell Greenville Partnership

Greenville County Schools is happy to announce a partnership with LiveWell Greenville! This wonderful organization aims to make Greenville County a healthier place to live, work, and play. Formed three years ago by the Piedmont Health Care Foundation, their goals include crafting plans to create environments in our community to make living well easier. Safe places to walk and bike, healthier foods in schools and workplaces, nutritious snacks in child care centers, better access to parks – these and other positive initiatives will be shepherded by the partners of LiveWell Greenville.

Summit Drive is excited to be chosen as one of twenty schools in Greenville County to have our Extended Day Program (EDP) benefit from these initiatives. LiveWell Greenville will provide assistance with best after-school program practice, connection to local resources, and technical support. This beneficial partnership will allow our school to set site specific goals aimed at improving the health and safety of our EDP students. Summit Drive is proud to be a leader in the area of student health and wellness with our current CATCH meals program which focuses on healthy food choices, our afterschool Enrichment Program classes, and our attention to educating all of our students about good nutrition and an active lifestyle. We look forward to continuing to provide quality childcare for our EDP students and achieving even higher levels of care in the upcoming 2013-14 school year.

LiveWell Greenville is excited to announce their first annual Park Hop Passport and Scavenger Hunt in Greenville County. Park Hop Passport is an adventure-themed scavenger hunt, families will be incentivized to visit featured parks throughout the summer while searching for answers to clues within each park.
