Bring Your Own Technology
Mrs. Covert's 8th grade Science classes used BYOT along with lecture notes in their interactive journals to choose a type of fossilization process to illustrate in a cartoon. Student's had three templates to choose from or a creat-your-own. Many extended their work to connect geologic time period events which caused the fossilization effect to occur.
