Mrs. Williams has been an educator for 27 years. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from Clemson University and a Master of Educational Leadership degree from The Citadel. She taught first grade, third grade,
and special education resource before becoming an assistant principal in Berkeley County in South Carolina’s Low Country. She moved to Greenville County in 2017. After a year as an assistant principal at Fountain Inn Elementary, she became the assistant principal here at Plain.
Mrs. Williams is a South Carolina native, having grown up in Camden. After graduating from Clemson, she spent 30 years living in the Charleston area and enjoying frequent trips to the beach. Now she has grown to love living in the Upstate with its proximity to the mountains. Having three of her children and three grandchildren living in the Greenville area has helped make Greenville a true home. She has a daughter who lives in Charleston, so that gives her the perfect excuse to visit and enjoy the beaches and beautiful sites there as well.
In addition to spending time with her family, Mrs. Williams enjoys reading murder mysteries, shopping, watching Clemson football games, traveling, watching HGTV, exercising, and socializing with her friends. There is a good chance you will run into her at Lowe’s because she and her husband enjoy doing home improvement projects.
“I am truly blessed to work at Plain Elementary with its wonderful faculty, staff, students, parents, and community. I enjoy serving others and working as a team to provide a safe and loving learning environment for children.”
