Many parents are unsure about how to help their children, as schools today may be different from what the parents are familiar with. "Lunch and Learn" is a great way for parents to get tips and tricks on how to help their student at home. Maudlin Elementary will be hosting monthly "Lunch and Learn" sessions. These sessions will be on the first Thursday of every month from 1:00-2:00 in the cafeteria. Dates are listed below and topics will be added closer to the time of each session. We hope you will join us! Lunch and Learn Sign Up Form

To celebrate Read Across America Day, SIC would like to bring back our Reading Links Challenge! Greenville County is also holding the annual Greenville Drive - Reading All Stars Challenge. To help streamline the process for everyone, we will combine our reading into ONE log! Beginning Feb 12th through Feb 29th, students will be challenged to read and track their books/pages to earn links for their class! Every 5 books or 50 pages will earn your class a paper link. On Feb 29th, all the class links will be combined to form one large MES Reading Challenge Chain! On March 1st, in combination with Real Men Read, Mrs. Dodds will present the reading chain. Let's see how many books MES students can read.

Our goal is to have 100% of our students registered for the heart challenge! Please register your student online and complete Finn’s Mission where you can watch a 2-minute video to know Hands-Only CPR, spot the signs of a stroke and so much more.
