School Tours

Welcome!  We are excited for you to learn more about our amazing school!

School tours are offered throughout the school year on the first Friday of each month at 9 AM.  School Tours will be conducted by our student Leader in Me Lighthouse Team and a school administrator.  Hear from students what makes Mauldin a great place to learn!

To attend,  please sign-up for a school tour below.

Visitors must have a picture ID and check-in at the school office prior to the school tour. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to check-in.

Visitors will receive a visitor badge that must be worn at all times during the visit and remain with the school administrator throughout the tour.

Please note that due to school construction throughout the building, we are unable to give tours during the summer months.

Can’t make Friday?  Give us a call in the front office to schedule an alternate time with one of our administrators 355-3700.

ACCESS Testing

States must administer an English language proficiency assessment to limited English proficient students in grades K through 12 in order to comply with the requirements of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, 20 USC 6301 et seq. (2002). For the 2024-25 school year, the assessment administered for this purpose will be ACCESS for ELLs® through the WIDA Consortium.

All students in grades K-12 who are determined to have limited English proficiency - based upon the completion of a Home Language Survey and the initial assessment of their English proficiency - must take ACCESS for ELLs® or Alternate ACCESS each spring. This includes those students whose parents have waived direct MLP services.

Students with limited English proficiency must continue to take ACCESS for ELLs until they meet the requirements for full English proficiency as established by the Office of Federal and State Accountability.

ACCESS Testing Dates- January 21- February 21, 2025
