National Junior Beta Club at Gateway Elementary School

Beta Club Seal

Gateway Elementary is proud to sponsor a Junior Beta Club for the 2012-2013 school year.  Our club currently has 41 members and is co-sponsored by our fifth grade teachers, Mrs. Clark, Mrs. Crane, Mrs. Gosnell and Mrs. Phillips and our Assistant Principal, Mrs. Calvage.

A Junior Beta Club chapter provides an opportunity for individual and cooperative effort by a school’s most outstanding students, develops initiative and leadership, rewards merit and achievement, and is an asset to the school and community.

The students meet monthly and have participated in several service projects this year including a food drive, making door decorations for Shriner’s Children’s Hospital and collecting items for the Ronald McDonald House in Greenville.  Click here to view a letter of thanks from Ronald McDonald House.
