Jacqueline Harris-SolomonMeet Our Principal - Jacqueline Harris-Solomon

Dear Armstrong Elementary Families and Community,

Welcome to a new and exciting school year! I am honored to serve as the principal of Armstrong Elementary School, and I am thrilled to kick off the 2025–2026 school year under our energizing theme: “Game On: Challenge Accepted.” This theme is more than just a slogan—it represents our collective mindset as we face challenges with courage, work together with purpose, and strive for excellence in everything we do.

I bring over 29 years of experience in education, having served as a youth specialist, teacher, academic coach, district math coach, school improvement coach, assistant principal, and principal. These experiences have shaped who I am as a leader and deepened my commitment to ensuring that every student receives a high-quality, equitable education that prepares them for a successful and fulfilling future.

As a servant leader, my approach is rooted in collaboration, compassion, and putting the needs of students and staff first. I look forward to working alongside our amazing, dedicated, and committed staff to create a supportive and empowering environment where every child can thrive.

At Armstrong, we are united by a common goal: to increase student achievement and prepare our students for productive and successful futures. I believe that by building strong, trusting relationships with our families, community partners, business leaders, and stakeholders, we can provide meaningful educational experiences that truly make a difference.

This year, my goals include:

I invite each of you to join us in this journey. Let’s encourage one another, embrace challenges with optimism, and stay focused on what matters most—our students’ success.

Game On—Challenge Accepted!
Together, let’s make 2025–2026 a championship year at Armstrong Elementary.

With excitement and commitment,
Your Proud Principal,

Jacqueline Harris-Solomon
