Augusta Circle has been recognized as a Palmetto Silver award winner!
State Superintendent of Education Molly Spearman and the South Carolina Department of Education announced that 249 schools across South Carolina have received the recently revised Palmetto Gold and Silver awards for their performance during the 2018-2019 school year.
"The Palmetto Gold and Silver awards demonstrate a school's commitment to excellence and ensuring every student meets the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate," said State Superintendent of Education Molly Spearman. "This achievement is testament to the hard work of the students, teachers, and principals in each school community."
For elementary and middle schools, the criteria focus on two report card indicators: Academic Achievement and Student Progress.
Congratulations ACE Staff and Students!
Below is the link to our School Report Card, released October 1, 2019 by the State Department of Education. Based on a number of factors, each school in the state has been rated as excellent, good, average, below average, or unsatisfactory. Here is a link to Augusta Circle's Report Card.
These report cards factor in multiple data points, test scores and surveys. The report attempts to measure a school’s academic achievement, student progress, college and career readiness and school climate. The reports will also include data on English Learners’ Progress, Student Safety, and Financial information. High School reports will factor in graduation rates.
If you have any questions or concerns related to our school’s ratings, feel free to contact Mrs. Melehes via email or phone.
