We are going to be very busy at school for the next couple of weeks, and I thought I would give you a few of the highlights.
We have our trip to the Children’s Museum on Thursday of this week, and Thursday is also the day scheduled for PTA’s meeting. Volunteers will be at school decorating on Monday, so all the fall displays will be moving out to make room for Christmas ones.
Other dates that you might like to mark are: December 8 for Santa photos at Hollis and December 9 for Santa photos at the main campus. Then on the 10th St. Joseph students will be giving us both a band and a choral concert, and on December 17 we will have Polar Express Days. December 18 will be another Santa visit and holiday party and everyone will be off from December 21 through January 1. I hope you are looking forward to the holiday season and that you will have an opportunity to join us for some of the activities at school, especially the party on December 18.
One other item of news is that on Friday afternoon, we received a check for $500 from Greer High School students and staff to help pay for our activities out in the community. We send many thanks to Greer High for their generosity and for supporting us in such a meaningful way.
Have a good week.
