Washington Center teacher Rebecca Williams recently received a grant from Donor’s Choose for her home-bound students. With the help of several generous donors, students were able to receive several new books and supplies to create more adaptive picture/tactile symbols. Some of their favorite new book titles to read include: All the World, Where the Sidewalk Ends, Dragons Love Tacos, and The Legend of Rock Paper Scissors. Students use the picture/tactile symbols to answer questions about what they have read.
