Washington Center décor has been brightened by displays of shared art work from friends attending neighboring schools. First graders from Heritage Elementary sent their portraits of Martin Luther King, Jr. in observance of Black History month, and students from Brook Glenn Elementary shared colorful samples of their recent art projects. Washington Center art teacher, Amanda Wakely shared samples of students’ work with these schools to display for this creative Art Swap initiative.
Washington Center students enjoy art displays from Heritage and Brook Glenn Elementary Schools as part of an Art Swap project between the schools.
