Ryana Smith-Wilson’s and Linda Kemp’s Washington Center classes got together for a Fall Fest celebration the days leading up to fall break. Students learned about the season of fall and all of its unique characteristics. Students learned why apples, corn, and pumpkins were important to the season and what treats they could make using them. Each student got to make their own popcorn/candy corn combo, pumpkin pie in a cup, and caramel covered apples.
With the assistance of teachers Linda Kemp and Ryana Smith-Wilson, Washington Center student Laci Robison explores the inside of a pumpkin to find seeds during the class Fall Fest celebration.
