This football season, Ryana Smith-Wilson’s Washington Center class is learning about the sport and three teams: Hillcrest Rams, Clemson Tigers, and Carolina Panthers.  The class follows team scores by predicting and then comparing wins and losses during the unit.  The students are fans of the Hillcrest High School Rams where their Para-Educator, Antrez McDaniel, also serves as an assistant coach.  Four of the Hillcrest senior players visited Mrs. Smith-Wilson’s class to join a lesson.  Following the lesson, students and visiting players enjoyed a friendly game of football pass and catch.
