Grandparents Dinners
Mountain View Elementary PTA invites students and their grandparents to dinner catered by Texas Roadhouse on Tuesday, October 2 or Thursday, October 4.  Reservations MUST be made by Tuesday, September 25.  Click here for more information or to print a reservation form.   

Job Fair
The Human Resource Operations Department will host a Job Fair from 5:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at Sterling School.   They will be hiring for the following positions:  Bus Drivers, Bus Aides, Custodians and Food Service Operators.  Hiring managers will be on hand to speak with and answer questions from interested applicants.  Click here for more information.

Children's Online Privacy Protection Act - COPPA
Greenville County Schools believes that technology is an important resource for enhancing the education of students with the most effective web-based tools and applications for learning. To provide students with access to web-based resources and to comply with federal regulations, including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), pertaining to the confidentiality of student information, Greenville County Schools has considered the educational value of and entered into agreements with several third-party computer software applications and web-based services. These third-party providers include Edmodo, Google Apps for Education, Office 365 for Education, and other similar educational programs. A list of the programs with the terms of use and privacy policy for each can be found at the Greenville County School’s COPPA Page.

Graduation Plus - Building a Better Graduate
Greenville County Schools is committed to graduating students with a diploma, plus a technical certification and/or college credit.  Graduation Plus is a district-wide initiative from pre-K through high school to ensure all students are career and college ready.  More information is available at the Greenville County Schools Graduation Plus page.
