All Mountain View Elementary School Students are eligible and encouraged to participate in this year's Art Competition and Exhibition.  This year's theme is Friendship.  Show us  what friendship means to you!  Prize medals will be awarded in each of the 4 art categories: 3-D art (pottery, sculpture), photography, visual art (painting, drawing), and written art (stories, poetry).  In addition, there will be a Grand Prize winner in 2 overall divisions: K4-2nd grade and 3rd-5th grade.  Grand Prize winners will each receive a Chromebook!  Artwork and entry submissions must be turned in Wednesday, March 13 or Thursday, March 14.  Winners will be announced at All-Arts Night on Monday, April 1.

Greater Greer Education Foundation Grant

Congratulations to Ms. Dill on winning a Greater Greer Education Foundation grant.  Ms. Dill has partnered with the North Greenville University art department and a future Eagle Scout, to transform the concrete area on our K4/K5 playground into a usable, educational space.  Upon completion, this space will provide opportunities for kinesthetic learning for the students as they jump from number to number, walk on alphabet letters or count by tens as they do hopscotch.  Mountain View is excited to partner with members from our community on this endeavor, and upon completion of this project, pictures will be posted on our website.
