Attendance Information

 

Welcome to the Fountain Inn Elementary's Attendance Information Page. You can find answers to questions you may have regarding your child's attendance and submit absence notes. Please feel free to call our school office for any questions at 355-5100.

Here are a few reminders to help you and your student have a successful year at FIE:

School starts promptly at 7:45am. Students should be in their classrooms seated and ready to learn by this time.
No early dismissals after 1:45pm.
Parents may use up to 10 parent notes per year; but after the 10th parent note, all absence notes must be medical.
School is dismissed at 2:15pm.
A parent must send a note for ANY absence with 2 days of the student's return to school or it will remain unexcused.
Students should be picked up from school no later than 2:45pm.
