Veteran's Day at Brook Glenn

At Brook Glenn, students and staff were honored to have veterans participate in a school wide Veteran's Day program. The program was meant to educate students about their life in the military.  On Friday, November 15th, students had all kinds of questions for its visiting veterans of the American Legion Post 3, Mr. Rouse, Mr. Curtis, Mr. Hunt and Mr.  Anderson.  The Veteran’s began the assembly with folding of the flag and explaining what each fold meant.  They continued with the flags symbols and its importance.  The assembly ended with a question and answer period. The veteran's were impressed with the student's behavior as well as the thought provoking and in depth questions that were asked.

We at Brook Glenn would like to say thank you to all our Veterans past present and future for keeping us safe and a special Thank you to the veterans from American Legion Post 3 for visiting our school.
