Where in the World is Montague?

Our theme this year at Blythe is "Around the World in 180 days!"  Montague the Bear will give clues each morning from a French or Spanish country.  Students will try to guess which country Montague is visiting that week, and will drop their answers in a special box in the Media Center.  A winner will be drawn each Friday.

Clues for the Week

Tuesday, January 5, 2010 - Christopher Columbus landed at Môle Saint-Nicolas, in northwest present-day Haiti, on December 6, 1492, during his first voyage. It is said that he was later buried here after his death in 1506; this however remains a controversy with Spain.
