What is French Immersion?
- Students are immersed in French for a half day of instruction.
What is taught during
French Immersion?
- Students receive daily
instruction in foreign language that exceed South Carolina Foreign
Language requirements.
Students are also taught all
standards for their grade level in math, health and science.
What age groups are currently enrolled in the French Immersion
Program?
- Currently the
French Immersion program is offered in
kindergarten through fifth grade.
South Carolina has written requirements of
foreign language programs. Blythe Academy
adheres to all state standards as well as
incorporating standards from other areas
of the curriculum.
