Overview of NewTech@Mann

About NewTech@Mann

NewTech@Mann is a “school within a school” on the campus of J. L. Mann High School that offers students project-based learning, student-led culture, and one-on-one technology. Since 2014, we have targeted learning in a way that explores traditional content through relevant and student-centered ways that showcase how the content is used in the “real world”. We also intentionally strengthen additional real- world skills by having an expectation that all classes will support and foster written communication, oral comm-unication, and collaboration.

In addition to the core content areas of English, mathematics, science and social studies, NewTech@Mann students will be able to take AP courses and, in their junior and senior years,  college level Dual Course Credit courses.
