Health Room
All medications in the health room must be picked up by a parent by 12:00 on June 6th. Any medications left after this time will be destroyed according to district guidelines. Medications cannot be sent home with students. Any questions call Nurse Smith at 355-6907.

Testing Information

End-of-the-year testing at Northwest is May 14th-24th, with 7th and 8th grade students taking their four tests Monday-Thursday mornings, May 14th-17th, from around 8:45am until lunch time. 6th grade students are taking their tests the mornings of May 21st-24th. Because of the strict testing environment procedures we must follow in administering those tests, we cannot get students out of those tests while they are taking place, so please know that there cannot be early dismissals during those times. Again, 7th and 8th graders are testing the mornings of May 14th-17th and 6th graders are testing May 21st-24th. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Sixth Grade Camp

Attention all RISING 6th grade students and parents! Northwest will be having a half day orientation for all rising sixth grade students. This orientation, or "Sixth Grade Camp", will be on August 17th, 2018 from 8-12. At the camp students will be given schedules, meet all their teachers and classmates, practice changing classes, learn about Northwest, and finish the day with pizza! Parents are responsible for transportation. Sixth Grade Camp is for students who will be in the 6th grade at Northwest for the 2018-2019 school year ONLY. Please use this Sixth Grade Camp sign up sheet! This will close on August 1, 2018. Additional information will be sent using the information provided. 

2018 Progress Report

Take a look at the new Greenville County Schools 2018 Progress Report. The Progress Report provides information for GCS stakeholders about all five goals areas:  student achievement, personnel, environment, resources, and communications.  Feature stories showcase employees and students, many with an accompanying video highlight.

2018 Marcus Whitfield Youth Camp

The Marcus Whitfield Youth Camp is a non-profit day camp sponsored by the Greenville County Sheriff's Office and staffed by Sheriff's Office personnel.  Its mission is to aid rising 7th-9th graders in making sound decisions and reaching their potential. Students may see Officer Johnson for an application or go to the Greenville County Sheriff's Office website.
