Author Lisa McMann will be visiting with our 3rd-5th graders virtually on Friday, October 22nd, to discuss her new novel, Clarice the Brave. Local independent bookstore Fiction Addiction is supplying us with copies of his signed book. If you would like to order a book (including a signed bookplate), please print, fill out, and attach your payment to the form below (make checks payable to Bethel Elementary) and return it to your child’s teacher by Monday October 25th. Orders received after this date will be filled as supplies last. The signed books will arrive about two weeks after the virtual visit. Thank you, and we hope your child enjoys this exciting event!
The district's magnet academies of accelerated learning offer unique educational choices to the students of Greenville
County to meet their individual needs. The academic program of each magnet academy offers a theme or focus that is
designed to give students an opportunity to explore a special interest, gift, talent or skill.
Each magnet academy will conduct an open house to explain the magnet application process and discuss the unique
characteristics of its magnet program. At this time, some schools have opted for a virtual format to accommodate more
participants. Please see the schedule for each academy’s open house date, time, and format.
Students, do you enjoy art, music and dance or have an interest in writing, producing films and taking photos? Then join us and have fun unleashing your inner artist with PTA Reflections! This year’s theme, “I Will Change the World By...,” calls for your own unique interpretation through the arts. The deadline for all entries is November 22. Please see Mrs. Wilkins or Mrs. Tyner for more information. Visit the Bethel PTA Reflections homepage for more information and to enter the contest.
