As principal of Alexander Elementary, it is my privilege and pleasure to welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year! Together we enter a journey based on a deep commitment to student success, both academic and social, and continued school improvement.  At Alexander Elementary, we will embrace the challenges of the future while continuing to cherish and celebrate the traditions of the past.  Our incredible staff, involved parents and students, and committed community come together to make AES a wonderful and unique place! 

I possess over 21 years of educational experience which includes teaching grades 2, 3 and 7. My experience also includes Instructional Coach with grades K4-5, Title One Facilitator grades K4-5, and Assistant Principal grades K4-5. My administrative experience has been shaped by 6 years of successful leadership as an elementary assistant principal in both Pickens and Greenville Counties and 8 years experience as a Principal in Greenville County.  I am exhilarated to bring my skills as an educational leader to our school and to work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child’s success.

In addition to being a school leader, I am a mother of 3:  Kinley (16), Lathem (14) and Sophie (12). We spend most of our time at sports events: basketball, football, and volleyball. 

My most important initiative is to provide leadership that will facilitate a school environment that meets the needs of every student. Parents, teachers, support staff, and administration all have an important role in encouraging our children to become motivated and active learners. It is my desire to provide opportunities for our students to gain the skills needed to become productive citizens in society.
