Our Tigerville Chorus Spring Musical entitled, Disney at the Movies is ready to take the stage! Each cast member has worked hard to learn lines, song lyrics, and choreography and our chorus students are ready to shine. We would like to invite you to join us for our two LIVE performances on Monday evening, March 11th at 6:00 pm and also Tuesday evening, March 12th at 6:00 p.m.
Tickets for each performance will cost $2.00 for each person, ages 0 – 99, in attendance. PLEASE NOTE ALL PEOPLE- NO MATTER THE AGE MUST HAVE A TICKET. Limited seating is available in accordance with fire marshal regulations and requirements of our space. Follow the link on the Tigerville website to reserve your tickets online for either or both nights on a first come, first serve-basis. The link will be live on Monday, February 26th, at 8:00 am – Friday, February March 1st at 12:00 pm (noon). The online reservations window will close when ticket sales reach the maximum number of seats available per night or on the deadline date. Money for these reserved online tickets are due no later than March 4th by 12:00 (noon). At that point, tickets not paid for will be forfeited and will not be available for purchase. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR!

Want to be more involved at Tigerville and positively impact your child’s education? Love planning events and being part of a community? Don’t want to see all the benefits of having a PTA at Tigerville go away? Whatever the reason, the PTA has a great opportunity for you. All PTA board positions are open for the 2024-2025 school year. Required positions must be filled to keep the PTA operational, president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. If these positions are not filled, the PTA will be required to dissolve and all the ways it benefits Tigerville students, staff, and community will disappear. Nominations are accepted until February 29, 2024.

All Tigerville alumni graduating seniors mark you calendars! We want to honor our graduating seniors with a clap out on Thursday, May 16, 2024. Bring your cap and gowns and gather in the media center starting at 12:45 pm. You will need to bring your ID and check in through the office. The clap out will begin at 1 pm. Coach A is hosting a student showcase on March 4, 2024. Join us in the gym at 5:30 pm for volleyball for grades 3 - 5 and beginner volleyball games for k5 - 2nd grade. Just bring comfy shoes and a water bottle, and be ready to have fun!
Calling all book lovers! BINGO for books is Monday March 4 at 6 pm. This free event is open to Tigerville students and their families. Come on out to play BINGO and try to win a book to add to your personal library.
Our next spirit day is Friday, March 1. Let’s celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday and read across America by highlighting the book The Cat in the Hat. Wear red, white, and black for The Cat in the Hat.
The Scholastic Book Fair is coming! SAVE THE DATE for Feb. 23, 26, and 27 and get ready to empower your reader with book choice. Families can shop together on Friday, February 23 from 7:15 AM- 7:40 AM and on Monday, February 26 from 2:45- 3:45 PM. Students may shop on Friday, February 23 and Tuesday, February 27 from 10 AM- 12:15 PM. Proceeds from the book fair are used to purchase books for the library.
It’s time to pre-order yearbooks! The yearbook will be an 8-1/2 X 11 color soft cover book with approx. 50 pages. Individual student pictures as well as candid shots will be included. To place an order, please return the form with cash or check made payable to: Tigerville Elementary School or TES. No orders will be accepted after March 28th. We are excited to announce that the Tigerville Spirit Rock is available for rent to celebrate your child and support Tigerville Elementary School. The Tigerville Spirit Rock is now available for sign ups. The Rock is a perfect way to send one of Tigerville’s students or staff a “Happy Birthday”. The Rock is also a Tigerville fundraiser, so all funds generated will be used to pay for school programs & improvements. The cost is $10 per day & you will have the Rock for 24 hours (5pm-5pm).
