What will my child be learning this year?

South Carolina Curriculum Standards are the blueprint for what is taught in the classroom.  Teachers refer to these standards in creating lesson plans and units of instruction.  The SCREADY is administered to students in grades three through five in English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics. Students in fourth and fifth grades also participate in the Palmetto Assessment of State Standards (PASS) in the areas of Science and Social Studies.
