Eastside High School - PTSA

Resources

Welcome to the PTSA page!

Welcome to Eastside High School! I hope this year is an exciting year for our community of students, staff, parents, and alumni.   As our community is continuing to adjust to the changes that the last few years have made, we are excited to see that our schools are starting to  open up and allow more in-person engagement with all members of our Eastside families.  PTSA partners with parents and educators to enhance student learning while engaging them in new and exciting opportunities.

The old saying ‘it takes a village’, rings truer now than it did years ago.  We encourage you to be part of the PTSA community and check out all the ways that you can be involved in our EHS community.  Please consider joining PTSA, it is the first step to being a part. PTSA never asks our students to sell anything to family and friends. Our biggest source of revenue allowing us to fund instructional grant requests from teachers is Eagle Bites. Click on the volunteer Sign Up Genius to see where you can volunteer.

Don't forget to check out our Memberhub Store where you can Opt IN with financial support to fund teacher grants and purchase some great EHS branded gear.

If I can help you or your student, please do not hesitate to contact me. My email is kellwiddows@gmail.com. I look forward to working with you to support our students and staff this year!

Eagle Bites: Welcome to a new year of Eagle Bites! Eagle Bites is snack shop open during all lunch periods any day school is in session. Volunteers man the store, selling snacks and drinks. It is a great way to observe your student inside the school building!

We ask that you select a day of the week and a week of the month and sign up for all the dates that fit that category. Some selections will mean only 2/3 times per year and others will be 8/9 times during the year. With only scheduling 2 volunteers each shift, it is very important that you are present or find a replacement for your shift. Because there is money involved, if you are not there, the store can not open! It is disappointing to the students and disruptive to the continued success of the store. Eagle Bites is the only fundraising activity for PTSA at EHS and allows for teacher instructional grant requests to be funded. 100% of the proceeds stay inside the EHS building to help create a better learning environment for our students!
