The Principal's Welcome...
It is an honor to serve as the principal of Carolina High School and Academy. Whether you are a returning family, joining us for the first time, or visiting our website to learn more about our school, I am glad you are here.
At Carolina High School, we are committed to ensuring that every student graduates with the knowledge, skills, experiences, and character needed to achieve success after high school. Our dedicated teachers and staff work together to provide a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students are challenged to grow academically, discover their interests, and prepare for their future.
Our school has proudly lived out the motto, "Committed to Excellence," as our students continue to reach new heights. The Class of 2025 left a lasting legacy by helping improve our state school report card rating from Below Average to Average. Building on that momentum, the Class of 2026 achieved the highest on-time graduation rate and the highest College and Career Readiness rate in Carolina High School's history.
As we welcome our newest class of Trojans, we are excited to see how they will continue this tradition of excellence and raise the bar even higher.
We believe that strong partnerships among our school, families, and community are essential to helping every student reach their full potential. Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. I invite you to explore the many academic, athletic, artistic, and extracurricular opportunities available at Carolina High School.
A Little More About Me
I have proudly served as the principal of Carolina High School since 2022. Before joining Carolina, I served at R.B. Stall High School in North Charleston as principal from 2016 to 2022 and as assistant principal from 2010 to 2015. I also spent seven wonderful years teaching science at Fort Mill High School from 2003 to 2010, an experience that shaped my passion for education and student success.
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Clemson University, my Master of Education from Winthrop University, and my Education Specialist degree from The Citadel.
Each of these experiences has strengthened my commitment to serving students, supporting teachers, and building meaningful partnerships with families. One of the greatest joys of my work is getting to know our students and their families. Carolina High School has a rich tradition, a caring school community, and a bright future, and I am proud to be part of it.
If you have any questions or would like to connect with us, please don't hesitate to reach out. We look forward to welcoming you to the Carolina family.
Go Trojans!
